I would say you are biting off more than you can chew. If you haven’t done any martial arts at all then you really need to take it step by step. You need to find a mma school. You should focus all your time and energy in that mma school. If for some reason you can’t go to a mma school then take one of the styles that make up your basic mma fighter:
    -boxing
    -kickboxing
    -muay thai
    -Brazilian jujitsu
    -wrestling
    -judo
I think boxing would be alright for you to start out if the mma school isn’t an option. If you can’t handle boxing or don’t like it I think that will be a big reason not to try mma. Mma is a lot tougher. I would just concentrate on boxing or one of those other arts and see what you like first before you get serious plans to be a mma fighter.
