just go do some weights for any muscle you think you will use when fighting(you can use most muscles to fight)

Muscles are good for grappling, but make sure that instead of simply building mass you’re also getting those muscles used to striking. Practice throwing punches or else all that muscle will slow you down.
And eat alot of protein but make sure that you don’t forget about your cardio. A fighter has to be well rounded so it’s harder to gain muscle than a bodybuilder who only has size to worry about. Run, swim, get your body tired.

Lifting weights with no knowledge of strength training is often a waste of time.
Here are some web sites;
And Check out Steve Cotter. Just do a internet search on him.
I recommend these sites and people all the time. If you want results go to an expert. All these sites sell info for money but nothing good is ever free.

Simple, for punches : your shoulders, tris, pec, deltoids
kicks : quads, and do some stretching to kick higher
grips : do chin ups hanging onto towels
cardio : lots of running

I would recomend the book Super Squats. It tells you how to gain muscle fast. The workout is based around squats which release the most testosterone of any exercise. I know someone that gain about 10% of their weight in 6 weeks. If your interested in fighting then pick up a book on plyometrics. Plyo’s are exercises that build speed and explosive power. Just two books will give you all you need to know about gaining weight strength and speed. good luck
