corey asked:

GSP appeared on insideMMA in September and was asked who do you think is the best p4p fighter out of himself, BJ Penn and Anderson Silva is and GSP brought up Fedor’s name.

Watch the video here(you have to watch the majority of the clip)-http://www.mma-core.com/videos/_Inside_MMA_09_20_08?vid=10001718tid=107

BJ Penn has also been open by saying Fedor is the greatest p4p fighter.
I can’t find the direct link but here is a link from MMA fightline interviewing Fedor and making reference about BJ Penn’s comments.
Fight line is one of the most credible sources who normally announces breaking news which is later posted on MMAweekly who is partners with Yahoo Sports.

http://forums.mmaweekly.com/showthread.php?t=282

In addition to praise of those elite athletes Rampage Jackson(said BJ Penn and Fedor are the best p4p fighters), Randy Couture and Noguiera all consider Fedor the best.

Fedor is such a humble fighter and it’s about time he gets his due.

I love how Dana White’s best fighters are praising Fedor when Dana himself said Fedor isnt even a top 5 heavyweight let alone a p4p fighter!

Anderson Silva is getting way to much credit. Yes, he belongs on the p4p list but his only major notable wins against ranked fighters are Henderson, Franklin(2x) and Marquardt.

Look up his record, he has fought just as many nobodies than Fedor has. The only difference is Fedor has beat more previous champions, more ranked opponents and better all around fighters.

-Clowns- Bas Rutten said BJ Penn and Fedor are the best p4p fighters.

In addition to that Bas stated “Fedor has no weakness. I have seen so many fights, and even the best fighters in the world have a flaw in their game but I have yet to find one in Fedor Emelianenko.

Makayla

hardboiled asked:

think it is a great way to teach dedication and discipline. Plus it helps you learn you aren’t invincible once you get hurt so you learn to value life more. The majority of people training hard will get injured, but I was wondering when you think the best age to teach at is so that the student will think about their choices more.

When is the best age for kids to take MMA up and learn? I’m thinking it will teach 80% of kids that it is a VERY stupid risk to fight as it did me. I got a head injury, but I learned a lot from the experience of fighting. Even though I had all this anger inside, I was able to find other ways to get it out besides fighting. But I do think an extreme physical activity is the ticket to getting that anger and confusion out more than the majority of sports. Yes, I do think the majority of MMA fighters have problems that they should deal with otherwise, but that’s another topic. I want to teach students at an age where they will consider the consequences once they get injured moderately. Do you think it varies or is there an age where you realize upon breaking a leg or get a head injury that you have much more to live for? I want them to conquer their fears and be able to do something more positive with their lives than fighting.

Nathaniel
